I was born in 1973 in a rural area of Pennsylvania. Wow, this is boring already. I was raised by ninjas and I have super human powers. Ok, now it's getting better. So, having those skills it wasn't long into my youth that I naturally became a superhero. Ever see Spiderman or Superman? Well, my life was a lot like that, saving people and the world all the time. Having a childhood like that was quite an experience. After high school I gave up my super hero status for that of a regular person. I attended a tech school for electronics and then later a university for computer sciences which led to the job I have now working for the communications and network service dept where I attended college. Ok, that pretty much summed up the typical life stuff but I'm a little deeper than that. Maybe not much but I am none the less. My interests include botany, raves, clubbing, and the outdoors. I have a touch of hippy in me which gives me a love of the outdoors. I love camping and hiking. And then there's the plant obsession; I love plants and the study of them. I have plants all over my apartment, a garden at my parents house and if that's not enough I also read botany books. Oh, the excitement, huh? Now for the more exciting part of my life which began around 1992 after reading a story on cyber punk culture in Time Magazine. I was fascinated with the high tech, open minded, fast paced and exciting lifestyle I had read about.. It gave me direction in my previously lost life, I wanted to live like that. From that point on my academic pursuits towards computers which eventually lead to me studying computer sciences. I also put my parents computer online shortly after reading the article to find any hint of this cyber culture I could. What I found was the rave scene. This was the early days of rave and they were hard to find and in distant lands and unfortunately I didn't have a vehicle that could make the trips. As time went on and rave grew and became more popular it also became more accessible and I dove in. By this point, even though I didn't realize it, I have become the cyber punk I had dreamed of years before. I lived online and partied high tech style till the morning hours. What I walked away with from these raves has changed me as a person for the better. I've seen and learned marvelous things which I try to take with me where ever I go. While the hey days of rave are over they still live in small intimate underground gatherings of great people and awesome music. Btw, I'm also single and like girls. If you're a single girl who likes boys and have read this far you can aim me at munkeybuttt or email me at ken@cs.millersville.edu. ;) Wow, that made me sound so desperate.
