Flower
A lonely raincloud cries falling tears,
drip-drop, drip-drop, into a puddle
of the ocean with a great expanse of space,
space with its mighty stars and planets
that orbit to bring the coming spring
which give us flowers to bloom with a smile
of colors to share its happiness.
But like the flower, the happiness too soon dies
to a dull brown like the feelings of hurt and loneliness
that spreads gloom much like flower spreads its seeds
falling to the ground to hide for cold is near
and all must die a death like sadness in our hearts where
we store hope much like the seed that stores life
to be revived only by the falling tears of the lonely
raincloud and the from orbiting planet
which brings us warmth and for us these things
are love that takes away the brown and lets us bloom
into the flower which smiles.
